No matter boy or girl, when you are looking to have a good Emo hairstyle, you must take care of your hair. That is essential. Brushing your hair often can help in removing dirt and grime. Shampooing the hair once every other day will help keep the hair clean while not stripping the hair of essential nutrients from overly washing it.

The right Emo hairstyle does not depend upon what others say but how you feel about your hair. Emo boys and Emo girls will decide the colors they want to use because it is a hairstyle that is meant to represent that person's individuality. This lets people choose what they feel is best for them.

Mohawk and Razored Punk Hair

Mohawk is the quintessential Punk hair style that launched a real craze both among girls and boys. This hair style managed to combine the edgy look with the sophisticated texture of the strands. Some would restrict themselves to the faux hawk look that would not apply a radical shaving technique. Others, on the other hand would like to sport the shaved look paired with long tresses.

Chopping the strands is one of the basic means to turn your haircut into a trademark Mohawk look. The longer and often spiked tresses were sported both in the heyday of Punk movement as well as at the revival of the style. In this case it is a must to appeal to the help of a professional hair stylist that will determine the proper sections to be shaved or trimmed as well as the length of the hair. These factors contribute to the otucome of the look and would make you feel up-to-date with the latest trends.

The Mohawk or Mohican is a hairstyle. In the most common variety, both sides of the head are shaved leaving a strip of noticeably longer hair in the centre. Mohawks became common in punk subculture and Rivethead subculture in the early 1980s and were then adopted by various other groups, becoming more diverse in style. Today, Mohawks are still associated with the punk subculture, but have also become part of mainstream fashion.

The Mohawk hairstyle is named for, and often associated with, the people of the Mohawk nation, an indigenous people of North America who originally inhabited the Mohawk Valley in upstate New York to southern Quebec and eastern Ontario.

In modern punk fashion, the Mohawk is often dyed brilliant colors and worn so that it points straight up, often to impressive height. The Mohawk is also a feature of goth fashion. The Mohawk is also known as the signature hairstyle of Mr. T, the actor who first became famous playing the boxer Clubber Lang in the movie Rocky III and later as Sgt. B.A. Baracus in the television series The A-Team.

Depending on how it is worn, the Mohawk can be a high-maintenance style. Regular, careful shaving or trimming is required to maintain a clean line between the shaven and unshaven (or short and long) portions of the hair; this can be especially complicated in bi- and tri- hawks.

If the hair is to be worn up, brushing, backcombing, blow-drying, and twisting are required, as well as the application of sprays and in some cases other holding agents like white or clear glue, egg whites, cornstarch, or gelatin. The amount of time required for styling may increase considerably with longer hair or complicated styles such as liberty spikes (sometimes known as a libertyhawk).

Some wearers enhance the look of their Mohawks with hair dyes. This, too can require a great deal of initial effort and maintenance, especially in styles where the color(s) form an integral part of the style. In some cases, for example, Mohawk-wearers who normally wear their hair up in a fan style dye the hair in even lines or stripes of color, either horizontal or vertical.

Mohawk Haircuts for Men

Mohawk Haircuts picture

Is it a good idea to get a new cool stylish mohawk haircut for men? Yes, of course! The mohawk hairstyle is one of the most stylish and popular haircut for men, especially the young guys love this kind hair style. But not every one love the mohawk haircut, because it is not easy to maintenance, to be fashion and stylish, it worth.

Many male celebrities wear the mohawk haircut, the mohawk icon I do think the the famous football player David Beckham, he ever wear really cool short mohawk haircut.Mohawk hairstyles will always have a place in society.

There are some different types of mens’ mohawk haircuts. And here are the three main haircuts:

Short and spiky Mohawk Haircuts - this mohawk haircut uses a little wider amount of hair that is much shorter in length, it is much like a strip of carpet as all the short hairs are spike up along the strip.

Long and Pointy Mohawk Haircuts – with this style, hair is long and molded into sharp, pointy strands that stick upright, the strands can either go inline or stick out in varying degrees for a even more wild punk hairstyle

Horses Mane Mohawk Haircuts – this mohawk hair is one of my favorites because it reminds me of those old gladiator movies with their helmets with strands of horse hair flowing along the back, but here its actually on your head and it looks great, the secret here is to have medium hair length with a little wider strip which can be spike towards the center to form a triangular link.

Alexis Bellino with Highlighted Long Haircut

Alexis Bellino (32) of The Real Housewives of Orange County used to be a brunette; now she's a blonde with some highlighting and layers.

The "conservative" socialite mother of three small children is the newest reality star on the OC show. She is self-described as high-maintenance and now works at a plastic surgery clinic. She should have replaced the unfit non-wife Gretchen (who almost had a heart attack when they worked out together).

Christina Milian Hairstyle

Christina Milian is a accompanist and extra that has abundant beard that she loves to appearance in a array of means and accept altered colors. Christina looks air-conditioned in her honey amber straightened locks, adult with her cone-shaped aphotic amber hairstyles or bold with her animated curls and textured waves.

Sultry accompanist Christina Milian acclimated some of her acclaimed adroitness to assemble this hot hairstyle. It offers a adult antithesis amid angry beard and apart coiled hair.

Rebecca Romijn Hairstyle

This shows that the new mother, she knows! Romijn's style here shows her beautiful cuts. This style requires curly hair style with long edge down. These goals and more direct than the outward curl glare. Rebecca is the best part of the explosion this short wispy bangs hairstyle. It is part of a combination of feathers.

Casual Corners

hairstyle for boys

Kids don’t want to be styled too much and a little unkempt wildness is a must for the heartbreakers of tomorrow. With the “grown” out look featured in this example all bases are covered. It is casual enough for the young fashion mavens but stylish and neat enough for mom. Layers and texture galore keep the boy's hair light and easy to maintain.

Little Boys Haircuts

haircuts for little boys

These two cutie pies are sporting short layered cuts that have similarities, but create different looks overall.

Hairstyle 1 is short and tapered on the sides and in the back to a longer top length. The top section is textured with a razor-tool to create choppy, chunky effects in the layers that are accentuated by the styling and products used. The hair can be blow-dried with a styling gel and then plied with a pomade to create the random, slightly spiky look in the hair.

Hairstyle 2 is another layered look that is razor-cut and also has choppy layering. The razor-cut fringe creates a light and wispy edge to the hair and shapes the whole of the hair into a lacy-edged cap that frames the face perfectly. Style the hair using a blow-out and vent brush or the fingers with a light-weight product like mousse.

Boy and Girl with Classic Haircuts

shag and bob for boys and girls

This boy and girl are cute as can be and rockin’ classic looks with updated twists.

Hairstyle 1 has our hero sporting a classic 1970s shag cut updated by razor-cut ends to soften the look of the style. The fringe is long (eye level) and the central parting gives the look a symmetry that emphasizes the texture of the hair. Style this look using a blow-dryer and brush with a styling gel and follow up with a touch of smoothing serum on the fingers and raked through the hair to smooth fly-away strands and give some definition to the locks at the ends.

Hairstyle 2 is a simple bob cut fully blunt with a narrow fringe zone that is crafted with a curved notch in the center of the forehead. The center parting gives the hair symmetry and the clean lines are perfect to balance the roundness of the childhood features. Style the look using a blow-dryer and flat brush with a soft-hold product and smoothing serum. Follow this up with a pass through a flat iron to smooth the locks.

Girls Hairstyles

Girls' hairstyles can be vastly different because the hair texture is just as different for the little ones as it is for the big ones! Smaller girls generally have softer, finer hair while older girls mostly have thicker and more texture to their hair. These are 5 styles that encompass some of the textures you have to deal with when selecting a style for your girl and ways to work with what you have instead of working against it.

For naturally curly hair, use products that support curls instead of smoothing products. It's a lot easier to style her hair and it will look a lot healthier when you don't have to apply heat to it. Little girl hair is a lot more fragile and sensitive to the heat from a curling iron or flat iron. Use a shine spray to help keep fly-aways down. You can also spray the wide-tooth comb or brush with the shine spray when hair is wet. Just be sure to keep the shine away from roots. You don’t want to weigh the hair down and make it look limp and greasy. If you want more defined curls, use sponge rollers when hair is just damp and let dry or use cloth rollers that are warm and insert after hair has dried. Spray with a light or medium hold hairspray for a special occasion, but stay away from harsher sprays because they can damage the more fragile hair.

Want to add a little more definition to the style? Try bangs. It softens the overall look and there are a lot of different ways they can be cut. The most traditional for little girls is blunt cut, but that doesn’t mean you have to go that route. They frame the face while still allowing you to pull the hair into pigtails or put in a cute hair accessory like a wide headband or cute clip.

Braids are in! There are a lot of ways to braid, and this picture shows one of the easiest. Pull all the hair to one side and insert braid. Secure with binder and you’re done! You can dress it up with a headband (also in style right now) or fun colorful barrettes. Use a fake flower on a string to tie around the end. Whatever way you choose to dress it up, this is an easy fix on a busy day.

As they get older, girls want to lose the “baby” look and feel like they’re more grown-up and independent. You can both win by choosing a style that is young and fresh enough for you and sophisticated for her. Medium length with side swept bangs and layering is a grown-up style that works on younger girls too. It’s easy to style and fairly low maintenance. If you keep the ends cleaned up, this style can last a long time. She should still be able to pull it back when she needs to, but also leave it down for dressier events.

Try a blunt cut for thick and mostly straight hair. If the hair is more dense, you should be okay using a blow dryer as long as you use a thermal protection spray to keep hair from drying out. It’s really cute all on its own, but can be even cuter with an embellished headband or even a cute hat.
